Prisca Awiti Alcaraz hace historia y obtiene medalla de plata en los Juegos Olímpicos de París, luego de caer ante la eslovena Andreja Leski en la final de la división -63 kilogramos.
Ésta es la primera presea olímpica del judo mexicano y segunda de esta edición.

Prisca Guadalupe Awiti Alcaraz tiene 28 años y nació en Londres, con padre mexicano y su madre originaria de Celaya, Guanajuato.
En 2017 comenzó a representar a México en eventos internacionales y vivió su primera experiencia olímpica en Tokio 2020.
Ha ganado bronce en Juegos Panamericanos (2023) y está ubicada en el puesto 18 del ranking mundial de judo.
